Two calls for submissions for the online academic journal “California Italian Studies” (CIS) Vol. 5 (deadline: April 15, 2014) and Vol. 6 (deadline: April 15, 2015).

• Call for Submissions Volume 5: The Sacred in Italian Culture: Forms and Practices. CIS is now accepting submissions for Volume 5 (2014). Submissions may be for either the thematic or the open-theme parts of the volume (see below), in either English orItalian. Deadline for submission is April 15, 2014.
• Call for Submissions Volume 6: Fixity and Flexibility: Italy and the Power of Images over Time. CIS is now accepting submissions for Volume 5 (2014). Submissions may be for either the thematic or the open-theme parts of the volume (see below), in either English or
